Our Kit includes everything you need to cure your own bacon at home. Home-curing has been a popular trend over the last year or so, giving you the ability to make proper dry-cured bacon in the comfort of your own home.

Curing is any of various food preservation and flavouring processes such as meats and fish, by the addition of combinations of, salts, nitrates, nitrites or sugar.

The aim is to draw the moisture out of the meat by the process of osmosis.

Although it sounds complicated, it really isn’t! The process is so simple, and only takes 7 steps.

FAQs: How much Pork do I need? You will need 500g Pork Belly for each 30g Curing Mix

Does this Kit Include Pork? No. You will need to get your Pork from your Local Butcher or Supermarket. We recommend using Pork Belly, but Back bacon will also do the trick.

How long does it take to cure? The whole Bacon Curing process takes 7 days, but only takes 10 minutes of your time rubbing in the cure.
